Overview
The MAG – MNT Series of mobile towers are designed for small-scale
mobile deployments such as repeater sites, wireless access points,
site lighting, and surveillance. The standard lifting capacity of the
MNT platform is 100 lbs of equipment and cabling with a maximum
wind loading of 70mph. The MNT platform has winch options that can
increase lifting capacity up to 250 lbs.
Each MAG – MNT Series mobile tower can be customized to include
portable power systems, integrated shelters, cabinets, cabling and
more to support many network applications.
As part of the TowerWorx “zero tool” initiative, the standard MNT
does not require any hand tools or electrical power for deployment.
It is possible for a single individual to set up the unit in less than 60
minutes. The MNT can operate in both on- and off-road environments.
Outriggers on each tower, when extended, provide lateral stability.
MAG – MNT mobile towers also support two methods of guying if
required by local ordinances or if additional stability is required due to
the wind loading factor.
All TowerWorx towers are designed using industry-standard tower
analysis and design software to allow for full wind loading and
structure design. All cabling used to raise, lower and guy these
towers is aircraft-grade. The strength required for each application
is determined using the TIA/EIA-222G specification. Sheaves are
constructed of solid steel for extra strength. All bolts are made of
Grade 5 and/or Grade 8 steel. AWS D1.1 Welding Procedures are used
in the fabrication of the tower.
The MAG – MNT Series includes three basic configurations to meet a
variety of height and support requirements. Refer to the chart on the
next page for these configurations.
