Dual, anything-to-LVDS, 2 x 2 crosspoint
switches guarantee 1.50GHz minimum
operating frequency
The MAX9390/MAX9391 dual, 2 x 2 crosspoint switches are designed to optimize high-speed,
low-power, point-to-point interfaces. These devices guarantee 1.50GHz (min) operation and less than 65ps
(max) skew between channels, making them ideal for protection switching in fault-tolerant systems, loopback
switching for diagnostics, fanout buffering for clock/data distribution, and signal regeneration.
•Independent enable for each
differential output pair
•1.5GHz (min) operation
•< 2psRMS random jitter
•Accept any differential inputs
•LVDS outputs for clock or data

One-time-programmable, generalpurpose clock generators
The MAX9491/MAX9471 are multipurpose one-time-programmable (OTP) clock generators. The MAX9491
has one programmable PLL, while the MAX9471 has two programmable PLLs. All of the PLLs feature fractional-N
feedback dividers and can generate almost any clock frequency under 200MHz with a given reference.

Minimize your camera size with our
3mm x 3mm, 10-bit LVDS serializer
Enables flexible camera surveillance systems
Packaged in a 3mm x 3mm TQFN, the MAX9235 serializer is ideally suited for the compact cameras used
in production line monitoring and security systems. The MAX9235/MAX9206 10-bit, serializer/deserializer
(SerDes) chipset can transmit serial data at up to 400Mbps over PCB traces or twisted-pair cable.

Reduce the number of point-to-point LVDS links
The MAX9132/MAX9134/MAX9135 route multiple sources—such as navigation, camera, satellite TV, and
DVD signals—to multiple displays, thus reducing the number of point-to-point links. Additionally, they provide
programmable output preemphasis to improve signal integrity at the load and accommodate longer cables
than can typically be driven by similar switches.

Complete multimedia serial link for
digital video, audio, and control data
AUTOMOTIVE for infotainment systems
Supports next-generation TYPICAL
requirements
SAFETY APPLICATION
The MAX9259*/MAX9260* SerDes chipset provides a fully integrated gigabit multimedia serial link for
automotive infotainment, navigation, and rear-seat entertainment applications. This chipset integrates a bidirectional, full-duplex control channel that eliminates the need for a separate I2C or CAN interface, thus simplifying
design while saving space and cost. Additionally, programmable spread-spectrum capability minimizes EMI,
making it easier to pass automotive compliance tests.

Eliminate CAN or LIN interface with
smart, 18-bit, bidirectional LVDS SerDes
The MAX9257/MAX9258 bidirectional LVDS SerDes chipset eliminates the need for an external CAN or
LIN interface in automotive safety applications. Whereas typical applications require an additional bus for
system configuration, the MAX9257/MAX9258 integrate all control functions. They, thus, simplify the design
by eliminating the need for this costly bus and its associated wiring. These devices have smart features that
enhance bandwidth utilization and suppress EMI, and they operate over the -40°C to +105°C temperature range.
