Chabad Lubavitch of Chester County
Chester County has the fastest-growing Jewish community in
southeastern Pennsylvania; yet it is the most unaffiliated county in
the Greater Philadelphia area. Chabad is working hard to change this
statistic through its numerous outreach programs.
At Chabad, all programs are designed to make Judaism an accessible
reality to all, aiming to attract even those who have been previously
uninvolved in Jewish communal events. Chabad emphasizes the
importance of the individual and the significance of every mitzvah.
In fact, Chabad's philosophy is refreshingly simple–unconditional
acceptance of every Jew. At Chabad, everyone is welcome. There are
no membership requirements, no fees–at Chabad, you just belong!
Children develop educationally through our Hebrew school, Mommy
& Me and youth programs. Adults expand their horizons in classes,
lectures and personalized study sessions. Families and individuals
add fresh Jewish dimensions to their lives through synagogue worship
and community programs.
Since its inception in 1998, working out of a small apartment,
Chabad of Chester County has grown in leaps and bounds, and is now
an established presence in the community, always growing in support
and participation. A partnership organization, its success is due in
no small part to the dedication of the many people who have gotten
involved in our important work–people who have given of themselves,
their time, energy and resources to make Chabad what it is today.
With this 10th-anniversary dinner, we honor our friends and
partners who have been instrumental in helping us achieve such
success. We invite you to learn more about Chabad, and we hope
to connect with you, involve you and interest you in joining the
dedicated people of our extended Jewish family.
