Age: Shall not exceed 50 years as on 01.07.2015
Period of consultancy will be for 11 months initially and likely to be
extended based on performance and needs of the department.
. The remuneration to be offered for the post will be within the given
range, commensurate with the qualification, experience and overall
performance in the interview of an individual candidate as per rules
inforce.
. Ability and willingness to travel extensively.
. Any other works as assigned by the SPD, SSA, A.P. Hyderabad
. The individual shall maintain the confidentiality in all official matters and
shall not disclose/share any information with others without the
permission of the SPD.
. The individual should be available during all working days of the
Government during office hours. In addition he should be available
whenever his services are required on holidays/after office hours if
required.

A - Educational Qualifications
Post Graduate Degree in Structural Engineering with 65% marks in
aggregate from recognized University.
Should not be more than 50 years old with good health
Well versed AutoCAD and STAAD software skills on school building
designs

B- Experience required in relevant Field:
. Should have minimum 15 years experience in design and civil
engineering.

He/she should be well versed with Technical aspect of construction
procedures, departmental codes and government orders in vogue.
C- Job Description
. Design and advise on various of infrastructural components of school

Le., school buildings, class rooms, kitchen sheds, compound walls,
toilets and drinking water smart class rooms etc.,
Instrument in creating indicators and to monitor performance of
engineers in the department from Site Engineer, Deputy executive
Engineers, executive engineer based on the day to day activities in
performing the job chart.
Instrument in creating in designing the program to enter progress
monthly basis on line from the district and which can automatically
consolidate at state level.
Conducting technical trainings during introduction in the department,
for reorientation after certain in duration of work experience, initiating
action on lapses, misappropriation of funds etc.,
Implementing innovative methods /technology in both in construction
technology, safe guarding environment.

Essential:
~ Post graduation in Home Science, food and nutrition,
~ Preferable in PhD/M.phil in Home science and Food and nutrition from a

2. Experience of working in the government sector at national! state level.

Job Description:
>- To participate in the prepaiation of situation analysis and development of
campaign, strategies for child health and to increase action among
stakeholders.
>- Develop, maintain and update advocacy and communication campaigns
and associated work plan in accordance with agreed priorities of
SSA/School Education
>- To develop clear advocacy messages for each campaign issue. Prepare
background communication and briefing materials for Government
officials and other partners to promote campaign objectives.
>- To ensure regular communication and coordination with state
communication focal points on national campaign issues. Contribute to
the development of state and district level capacity by coordinating state
specific campaign content to increase visibility and promote advocacy
objectives
>- To ensure and enhance quality, consistency and appropriateness of state
specific communication materials and activities. Ensure evidence based
programming approach is appropriately reflected in the communication
campaigns, work plan and products.

B - Experience Required in Relevant Field:
1. Minimum 5 years' experience in both administrative and academic matters out of
which two years should be in dealing with RTE issues.
2. Strong RTE related advocacy experience
3. Experience in implementation of on RTE interventions.
c- Job Description:
1. Analyzing gaps in RTE implementation in Andhra Pradesh and advising
appropriate strategy and action plan.
2. Brining the best practices in RTE implementation in other states to Andhra
Pradesh and developing program of action to take forward the same
3. Conducting of Training of Awareness orientation Programme at State Level/
District Level on implementation and monitoring on RTE Act.
4. Supporting the State Govt.in developing action plan for implementation of 25%
seats in Private Schools for children from weaker sections and sensitizing
private school management
5. Promote basic objectives of RTE among all stakeholders.
6. Coordination with Departments of Labour, Women & Child Welfare, Social
Welfare, Tribal Welfare, Minority Welfare, BC Welfare Departments etc., .
