6. PURPOSE
This Manual contains all necessary data for Croatia Airlines Handling Agents and Load
Officers needed for handling of an aircraft and preparation of a Load & Trim Sheet.
7. ORGANIZATION OF MANUAL & LAYOUT
This Manual is made according to the Documentation management (PO-QMS-001).
Revisions are numbered by two figures separated by dash (e.g. 1-0). First figure indicates
number of last total revision and second one indicates number of revision (not total) made
after last total revision.
Chapter 0. of this Manual is revised as complete chapter. Other pages are revised
individually.
8. RESPONSIBILITIES
The Croatia Airlines Flight Operations Services is responsible for contents of this Manual
and validation of test Load & Trim Sheets and EDP database values as well.
The Flight Operations Services – Documentation Management Department is responsible
for distribution of this Manual to users inside Croatia Airlines, according to the Distribution
List
The Flight Operations Services – Documentation Management Department is responsible
for distribution of this Manual to users outside Croatia Airlines (Handling agents).

9.3. Floor loading limits
The cabin floor can be loaded in limits of the different floor areas up to a maximum of
488 kg/m run. A foot run is measured parallel to the airplane’s longitudinal axis and
extends over the full width of the floor.
NOTE:
A maximum load of 488 kg/m run must not be exceeded. Maximum loading capacities
of floor areas are as follows:
− Under the passenger seats, on the
37.5lb/sq ft (183 kg/m²) floors:

The loading of bulky baggage may be limited by access through the baggage
compartment door and by restrictive items in the baggage compartment area. The
maximum dimension of items that can be loaded into the baggage area can be
determined by referring to the Table− Maximum Package Dimensions.
The Maximum Package Dimensions table provides a quick reference for determining if
a given piece of cargo can be loaded into the baggage compartment. The dimensions
shown are approximate. By cross-referencing the known height and width of a piece of
baggage, the chart provides the maximum package length which can be stowed in the
baggage compartment.
The Maximum Package Chart assumes that the baggage divider nets have been
removed for loading and there is no interference from previously loaded items. Tilting,
twisting, bending, and/or rotating packages through the baggage door may allow
additional package lengths to be loaded. If shoring is used to distribute the weight of the
item, the height of the shoring must be considered when determining the package
height. For cargo items which are not limited to a particular orientation, some advantage
may be gained by reversing the height and width dimensions.

10. BALLAST
Ballast of 200 kg is mandatory in zone cargo compartment 6 (aft cargo) for training flights
only (crew code 2+0 and 3+0).
11. DELIVERY AT AIRCRAFT (DAA)
Hand baggage (DAA) has to be loaded in the compartment 6 and requires a remark on the
LDM.
Example: DAA 6/X (x is number of pieces in DAA)
The number of DAA pieces should be reported to the flight crew.

3. DCS UPDATE
For every change in input data (revision of AHM560) as well as when EDP provider
changes, we will require confirmation of data update and test load and trim sheet.
Also 6 month after the last data revision (revision of AHM560) we will require status of
AHM560 (revision number and date) or database printout and test LTS for each aircraft
