of the GP Common Implementation Configuration Test Suite when a
product is submitted for UICC v1.0 Configuration qualification

Package to be run
As of April 1st 2015, it will be possible to run the ‘SCP03 common’ package of the Common
Implementation configuration Test Suite v1.6.0 when a UICC Configuration v1.0 product is
submitted for GP qualification.

Impact on the SCO
A new option is available in section A.2.1.4 of the card SCO; it allows Product vendors to
request that the ‘SCP03 common’ package be run when their GP product is submitted for UICC
v1.0 Configuration qualification.
Note: The SCP03 Common package option can only be selected when the card is submitted for
UICC configuration qualification, it cannot be selected alone.

Impact on the UICC Test Suite
The UICC test suite has been updated and its Initial State v1.5 has been published.
(Specification of initial states for the compliance test suite for UICC Configuration v1.0.1).

Process of running SCP03 Common Package
The process of running the ‘SCP03 common’ package when a UICC Configuration v1.0 product
is submitted for GP qualification is the following:
The Product vendor
-
Selects the SCP03 Common package option in section A.2.1.4 of the SCO,

Indicates in the XML file that the card supports this option,
-
Generates sample cards containing SCP03 data (*).
The Laboratory
-
Runs the UICC Test Suite (All SCP02 tests and the SCP03 keys handling tests),
-
Runs the SCP03 Common package using the XML options of the card to be tested.
(*) The card shall be prepared accordingly to the Specification of initial states for the compliance
test suite for UICC Configuration v1.0.1.
