ITK is suitable for teaching sensors and transducers in university. It works seamlessly with most of National Instruments Data Acquisition Platform including NI USB-DAQ, NI ELVIS and cRIO. Taking advantage of powered by LabVIEW, user may able to customize the program according to the application related to the sensor. ITK 200 available with five(5) Instrumentation Modules that include motion sensor, humidity sensor, touch sensor, ultrasonic sensor, force sensor and many more. ITK also consists Traffic Light Module that mimic T-junction traffic light system. Main Board Features 1 Main Board– This is the heart of ITK 200 where it places standard features that essential for laboratory experiments. 2 Solderless Bread Board – Provides an area for building circuitry and to connect modules pin to Data Acquisition terminal. 3 5 3 1 4 2 General Purpose I/O –This is an additional laboratory components that user can use for own applications which consists of : i- Push button that can be used as a start/stop or on/off button ii- Potentiometer that can use for needed of different voltage level iii- LEDs for indicator iv- 7-segment display for basic digital display to up to number 99. 4 Module Indicator – This is a power LED that will lights up when modules is connected 5 Header – This is a D-Sub connector Instrumentation Moduels to the Main Board that connects Use ITK 200 Modules with NI ELVIS II Every ITK 200 Instrumentation Modules are modular and detachable so that easy to detach from the platform and attach to other NI DAQ Device including NI ELVIS. The Instrumentation Modules are not limited to be used only with ITK 200. Taking advantage of detachable approach, the same Instrumentation Module can be used with NI ELVIS II Workstation. Simply unplug the Instrumentation Module from the ITK 200 Main Board and place the Instrumentation Module on the NI ELVIS II Prototyping Board to let your Instrumentation Module works with NI ELVIS II. This is a dual axis solar tracker design with a joystick to control the rotation of two servo motors in open loop mode. It can also be operated in closedloop mode, where it is control via software which user need to program its feedback output from the photo detectors. Replacing the existing plate with a mini solar cell to the control module will create a solar mini power station. Process Control Module (PCM) is a VSys ITK200 Module that is proposed to be used for Control System. This PCM is a universal module that is suitable for teaching Open Loop and Closed Loop System. Couple this PCM with Process Flow Plant (PFM) enables student to learn how control system is applied on a valve to control a water level in two tank. This PFM and PCM demonstrate the water level controller. A limit switch is attach to each tank to measure the water level . This will trigger the valve to on and off.
