Transfer
Admissions Process
Gannon University has a transfer
program to fit your needs. Whether
you are completing an associate’s
degree program, returning to school
after receiving an associate’s degree
or currently in a two-year or four-year
program, we make the transfer process
at Gannon easy to complete.
Students in good standing (generally
defined as having a 2.0 grade point average
or better on a 4.0 scale) at a two- or fouryear institution are invited to apply for
admission. Gannon University processes
admissions decisions on a rolling basis
for most majors.
Please return the completed Transfer
Admissions Application Packet with
the $25 non-refundable application fee
in the envelope provided. Make your
check or money order payable to Gannon
University. Please type or print clearly.
Transfer students should submit the

Next-Step
If you already have an associate’s degree
from a regionally accredited institution
you can expedite the completion of a
bachelor’s degree by majoring in some
select fields (see next page). Gannon
guarantees acceptance of up to 64 credits
and allows students to enter Gannon with
junior level status. Only courses in which
grades of “C” (2.0) or better have been
earned are eligible for transfer. At least two
years of upper-division full-time study are
required to obtain a bachelor’s degree.

Students who wish to apply to
Gannon’s Program for Students with
Learning Disabilities (PSLD) should
indicate so on page 6 of the application.
Once accepted, the Director of the
Program for Students with Learning
Disabilities may request the following:

Financial Aid Process
First, complete the Gannon Financial
Aid Early Version Award (EVA)
Application.
The EVA awarding process begins
in mid-October.
Second, file the Free Application for
Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form at
www.fafsa.ed.gov. We recommend you
submit this form online as soon as
possible after January 1. All requests from
the Financial Aid Office for information
should be returned promptly.
Some programs have limited enrollment.
