Light building element for linear fluorescent lamps
Post construction: Extruded aluminum with die-cast aluminum
reinforcement castings in the base internally welded into an assembly.
Die castings are marine grade, copper free (≤ 0.3% copper content)
A360.0 aluminum alloy.
Lamp enclosure: Heavy walled extruded aluminum vertical elements
with die-cast top and bottom end caps removable for relamping.
Secured by four (4) captive stainless steel fasteners threaded into
stainless steel inserts. White, acrylic diffuser. Fully gasketed using high
temperature silicone rubber material.

Electrical: Lampholders; fluorescent T5 HO, G5 miniature bi-pin.
Ballasts are integral, universal voltage 120 V through 277 V. A minimum
start temperature of 0° F (-20° F start temperature available, consult factory
for details). Standard T5 lamping available on request, consult factory.
Anchor base: The 890 D anchorage consists of a heavy gauge welded
assembly of .157” thick galvanized steel. Luminaire slip fits over the
base and is secured by eight (8) stainless steel set screws.
Finish: All BEGA standard finishes are polyester powder coat with
minimum 3 mil thickness. These luminaires are available in five standard
BEGA colors: Black (BLK); White (WHT); Bronze (BRZ); Silver (SLV);
Eurocoat™ (URO). To specify, add appropriate suffix to catalog number.
Custom colors supplied on special order.
U.L. listed for US and Canadian Standards, suitable for wet locations.
Protection class: IP 65.
