Author IRENE LATHAM
Students and parents will often want books they can have autographed by the author,
keep on their bookshelves, and read whenever they like.
If you are planning to have an author autographing, books can be ordered from a local
bookstore or wholesaler, or books can be ordered direct from Penguin (LEAVING
GEE’S BEND), Macmillan (DON’T FEED THE BOY), Lerner (DEAR WANDERING
WILDEBEEST and WHEN THE SUN SHINES ON ANTARCTICA), and from Perseus
Distribution (FRESH DELICIOUS).
Ordering books is EASY!
Both Penguin and Macmillan offer schools a 40% discount. Also, unsold books are fully
returnable. This provides schools with a no-risk way to help fund the author visit with
Book Sales.
Specific information for ordering each book can be found on the following pages. Please
find a Book Order Form in a separate PDF on the School Visits page at
http://www.irenelatham.com/school_visits.html which can be photocopied and sent
home with students six weeks before Irene's visit.
Before photocopying, you will need to fill in:
Date of Irene's visit
Due date of book order
Check payable to whom
Price of book (retail or discount)
You are also welcome to create your own Book Order form.
