are the leader, we are leveraging a partnership with
ABB, a global leader in the manufacturing of
medium voltage transformers.
COMMITMENT TO QUALITY
• Transformers are designed, manufactured and
tested to Square D brand specifications ensuring
the highest quality in the industry.
• Transformers can be supplied with UL/cUL label.
• Liquid-filled transformers can be supplied
with FM label.
$30M capital improvement plan
• All products meet or exceed applicable
ANSI/IEEE standards.
• Quotation, technical assistance, substation
coordination and order management will
be by Square D personnel.
• Square D brand transformers are manufactured
in ISO9001 certified facilities. This is the most
comprehensive standard in the internationally
recognized ISO9000 series; covering design,
manufacturing and servicing systems
New continuous casting
equipment improves
process efficiency and
casting consistency to
meet more stringent
quality standards.

SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC
OFFERS A FULL LINE
OF MEDIUM VOLTAGE
TRANSFORMERS
MODEL III PACKAGE-UNIT SUBSTATION
Combining a primary switch, dry-type transformer and I-LINE® distribution
section into a single unit, the Model III Package Unit Substation is the smallest
footprint in the industry. The compact size of this product makes it ideal for areas
where obstructions such as ductwork, conduit or fixtures prevent the use of a
full-height substation. In addition, top fed units are only 37.5" deep and 90"
high, allowing the entire substation to pass through standard size single
doorways and narrow hallways.
The Model III Package Unit Substation can be used in retrofit and high rise
applications requiring increased electrical demand, as well as new construction
requiring multiple zones. Substations are available in sizes 75kVA through
1000kVA with three phase primary voltages of 2400 volts though 13800 volts.
MEDIUM VOLTAGE TRANSFORMERS
Recognized as a market leader, Schneider Electric also offers a full range of
medium voltage transformer products. All of our transformers are manufactured
in ISO certified facilities which ensure the highest quality products are provided,
built and tested to applicable ANSI/IEEE, CSA and NEMA standards. We offer
high efficient standard designs as well as optional low loss TP1 designs, and most
of our medium voltage transformer products can be UL labeled. Our product
scope includes liquid-filled; conventional dry type as well as two premium
cast coil designs.
• Liquid-Filled Transformers — padmounted and substation styles
• Dry-Type Transformers
• Cast Transformers
• Package Unit Substations
