Creative Nail Design (CND) is a global leader in the personal beauty industry. CND needed to
expand their Salesforce solution to accommodate their upcoming product launch and
company growth. To effectively manage an increase in customer demand was key for CND to
have a successful product launch.
Challenges
Data & Communication – Data was unorganized and spread across more than thirty disparate
databases, causing ineffective communication across departments.
Marketing / Customer – CND could not collect the data necessary to identify and effectively
target their customer base because data was not centralized.
Website Capabilities – CND wanted a system to connect with their website to support
relationships with over 100,000 beauty professionals and enable customers to search the web for
salons that offer CND products.
Solution & Results
CND deployed Salesforce Sales Cloud to capture relationships at multiple layers of the business
model from: distributors, retail stores, beauty salons, and individual beauty professionals.
Mobile Application – Red Sky Solutions created a custom mobile application which enables
CND to effectively capture and track touch points with distributor partners at tradeshows and
events. The mobile application also helps manage educational events and classes efficiently by
enabling CND to input and submit attendee information electronically in real-time. Information
syncs with Salesforce and is available anywhere via the web.
Data & Communication – By consolidated data in over 30 databases into one centralized
system, Salesforce, various departments can manage and share information; thus increasing
communication and efficiency.
Web-to-lead – Establishing a web-to-lead system by implementing Salesforce web-to-lead
creates visibility into customer’s attributes and activities; allowing CND to measure marketing
dollars spent, and to make more focused forecasting decisions.
Website – Red Sky Solutions built integration between Salesforce and CND’s website for beauty
professionals to manage online training.
Google Map-based Locator – By integrating Google Maps with CND’s website and Salesforce,
data in Salesforce drives CND’s website to support their customers’ and beauty professionals’
needs. Maps allow website visitors to locate salons, stores, classes, distributors and schools based
on products offered, classes held and locations.
