GRADING: Course grades will be based on homework, midterm and final exam scores. Homework is worth 20%, midterms are worth 45%, and the final exam is worth 35% of your course grade. Your lowest homework score will be dropped. Make sure that you can be present for each of the midterms and final exams. The midterms will be held at the usual class times and location listed above. The final exam time is set by the university and can be found on the registrar’s website. There will be NO makeup exams, except in exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of the instructor.
