2015 – Present
Interim Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, The College of Business,
Florida State University. Collaborates with the Dean, Associate Dean, and
other college associates to oversee academic programs and ensure quality
faculty and student support services. Assists with the supervision and
direction of the College of Business Graduate, undergraduate, and internship
programs’ day-to-day operations and attaining their strategic objectives.
2007– Present
Director Professional Golf Management, Professional Golf Management,
Florida State University. Development of PGA Golf Management curriculum.

Foster relationships with industry leaders and PGA of America. Financial
oversight of PGA Golf Management program. Recruitment of qualified
students. Oversee two PGA Golf Management associates. Ensure all students
meet FSU and PGM academic requirements. Supervise accreditation process
for PGA Golf Management program. Secure internship sites for 90 PGA Golf
Management students annually.
2013–2015
Assistant Director, Dedman School of Hospitality, Florida State University.
Assist the Director of the Dedman School of Hospitality as requested by the
Director. Assist the Director of the Dedman School with managing On-Line
Curriculum. Assist the Director with University and College certification
processes. Manage all Dedman School of Hospitality Finances.
2004–2007
Resort Manager/Director of Operations, Mid Pines Inn and Golf Club/Pine
Needles Lodge and Golf Club. Primarily responsible for the financial health of
the resort operations. Analyzed income, cash flow, balance sheet, and other
resort financial statements. Developed operating budgets for Mid Pines and
Pine Needles resorts. Was responsible for approval of tournament contracts,
accounts payable, labor costs, and fiscal controls. Oversaw the daily operation
of resorts with direct reports including Mid Pines Comptroller, Food and
Beverage Manager, Executive Chef, Maintenance Engineer, Director of
Housekeeping, Director of Guest Services, Conference Service Manager,
Head Golf Professional. Director of Golf at Mid Pines and Pine Needles, host
of the 1996, 2001, and 2007 Women's U.S. Open Golf Championships.
Created cooperate marketing strategies, golf packaging, associate policies, and
capital improvements in coordination with Executive Team. Imparted quality
leadership for up to 200 associates. Provided for the training and development
of all department heads and other personnel.
Ensured that a positive and healthy work environment exists throughout the
entire resort. Established job descriptions, annual performances, policies and

2001–2004
General Manager, Seven Lakes Country Club, West End, NC. Was directly
responsible for the management and operation of Seven Lakes Country Club
including oversight with all financial and accounting procedures, membership,
food and beverage, golf shop operations, and golf course maintenance
departments. Developed and approved all operating, cash flow, and capital
budgets. Directed annual audit performed by outside accounting agency.
Negotiated property tax evaluations with county. Led the Board of Directors
in transforming the club from a private, not-for-profit equity club to a
semi-private for-profit equity club. Developed an emeritus program for
members. Ensured the enforcement of the club's by-laws and policies.
Originated marketing and promotional strategies including membership

drives, increasing non-member play, and in-house promotions. Provided
leadership and guidance to the club's department managers. Assisted the
Board of Directors with designing policy and long range planning.

PGA Golf Professional, Seven Lakes Country Club, West End, NC.
Responsible for the total golf operation. Maximized golf rounds at 41,000
including member and non-member play. Attract, Oversee, and Host,
Professional, Charitable, and Membership events. Owned and operated
merchandising program with annual sales in excess of $125,000. Created
successful tournament program with over 30 membership events annually.
Developed instructional programs for members, juniors, and physically
challenged golfers. Instructed several clinics for the Special
Olympics.Exceeded all financial expectations every year of my employment
at Seven Lakes Country Club.
