questions for my birthday”, Sean told
his friends. “Can you answer these?
Is it rude for a deaf person to talk (sign) with their mouth full of food? What do you
do when you see an endangered animal eating an endangered plant? How can you
tell when you run out of invisible ink?” Matthew laughed. “That book sound
fun, but people asked Jesus tricky questions to try and get him into trouble.

God had give his people 10 laws or commandments
to follow. The religious leaders including the Pharisees and
Sadducees had added over 600 complicated rules and
laws. They thought that by keeping them, they would be
pleasing God. They even argued over which was more
important. Now they tried to
trick Jesus with really silly
questions about these rules.
