Volunteer for RELOAD
RELOAD Youth Project
Reload is a weekly youth club in Port Clarence for young people aged 8-13yrs. We regularly
get 20-25 young people attending the session, and would love to have volunteer support.
The sessions usually involve games, indoor and outdoor, crafts and a tuck shop.
You will need to be willing to get stuck in and build relationships with the young people, use
your initiative and be adaptable as well as having a good sense of humour. You’ll be
involved with setting up and packing down, and playing your part in the youth team.
Responsibilities:





To offer friendship to young people.
To fully participate in the initial training programme and further training as required.
To liaise with the Youth Outreach Coordinator where necessary, communicating issues that
may arise and accessing support and guidance.
To work in a non-judgemental manner and maintain confidentiality at all times.
To support the youth team

 Passionate about working with vulnerable and at risk young people.
 Sympathetic to working in an organisation that is based on Christian values and principles.
 Able to show empathy and take a non-judgemental attitude.
 Self-motivated with an ability to use initiative and persevere with situations.
