Taking a BYU Language Placement Test
The BYU flats test is only offered at the USU Logan, UT Campus for USU students.
If you need to take one of the above tests you order the test online at http://flats.byu.edu/. You will pay for the test
at this site and tell them where you would like to take the test (USU Logan Campus). They will ask for your
proctors information which is:
Darla Moore
0720 Old Main Hill
Logan, Ut 84322-0720
darla.moore@usu.edu
435-797-1209
They will also ask were you would like the results to be sent to. You use the same information as you did
for the proctor. There will be a proctor fee of $25 before you take the test at USU. You will need to come
into Main 204 to pick up that for before you go to the registers office.
BYU will send you two emails. The first is the receipt that you have paid BYU for the test. The second
email has the password you will need to bring with you to the test, this is important. If you don't see the
second one it sometimes goes to your junk mail. As soon as you receive the emails from BYU you can
call 797-1209 or email darla.moore@usu.edu to set up a 2 1/2 hour test. Appointments for BYU test can
start from 9 to 2.
