Technical info - Quinn Radiators

The round top of the Sensa radiator is unique. Quinn Radiators produces this radiator from a single folded
pressed panel.
The smooth rounded top does not have a sharp vertical
weld seam making it a natural choice in the home or
office.
The Sensa requires less maintenance, has no grilles and
side panels to damage or replace, which makes it ideal for
community housing projects
Furthermore this type of radiator is available without convection fins for optimal hygiene, making the Sensa radiator an ideal solution for use in schools, hospitals, healthcare centres or nursing homes.
The Sensa radiator has the highest heat output per m2 on
the market. The excellent yield is possible because of the
unique concept of pressing the panels .
By using a narrower spacing (25mm) between water
channels, more convection fins can be attached to the
panel. These are welded directly to each water channel,
which creates an exponential increase in heat output.
Low water content within the narrow water channels
causes the radiator to heat up faster and consequently
emit heat more rapidly to the surrounding area .
The standard colour for Quinn panel radiators is RAL9016 .

Attention:
For all type 33 Sensa radiators in heights 300 and 400 we recommend the use of JBMBRT-brackets.
You will need 2 JBMBRT-brackets for radiators up to a length of 1600mm included, longer radiators will require 3 JBMBRT-brackets.

Suspension brackets Type L
These metal suspension brackets are a standard accessory for all panel radiators (1). Type 10 radiators are supplied with wider brackets (2). This makes it possible for these
radiators to be fixed to the wall at the same position as Type 11 radiators.
Assembly condition for suspension brackets Type L: lt is recommended that the brackets are positioned in the centre of the lug.
The brackets come equipped with anti-vibration plastic saddles that suppress any noise or radiator movement (3) . Anti-lift devices (4) can be ordered optionally. These prevent the upward movement from light types of radiators combined with plastic pipes.

Types
Working pressure
The Quinn Sensa radiator is available in type 10, 11 , 20, 21 ,
22 and 33 .
All radiators are pressure tested at 13 bar and are suitable
for a working pressure up to 10 bar. The maximum operating temperature is 110°C (in accordance with EN 442-1).
Paint
Steel thickness
Quinn uses a painting procedure that is used in the automotive industry. All Quinn radiators have been fully treated against rust.
All Quinn radiators are produced with high quality cold
rolled steel in accordance with EN 442-1 . After painting
the nominal gauge thickness of the radiator is 1,25mm .
Firstly, they are degreased . Then a water-based electrophoretic base coat is applied . After this, the radiators are
powder coated with an epoxy polyester powder.
The total paint coat thickness is 60 micron minimum . This
painting procedure protects the radiators against rust,
damage and scratching .
Colour
Our standard final coat is a 60% gloss finish RAL 9016
(white).

The Quinn Sensa radiator is available in lengths from
400mm up to 3000mm inclusive.
Dimensional tolerance
All dimensions conform to EN 442-1 .
Accessories
The included brackets Type L are easily accessible from
the outside of the packaging and guarantee a discrete
mounting .
Air vent and blank are included inside the packaging .
Materials
The Quinn Sensa radiators are manufactured from high
quality cold rolled steel.
Packaging
In order to avoid any damage during transport and storage, the four sides of each radiator are protected with
cardboard . The packaging contains a complete assembly
kit, which ensures an easy and quick installation .
lt is not necessary to remove the packaging for installation . Therefore the risk of damage is very low.
The heat outputs from the Quinn Sensa radiator vary between 127W and 5944W- at ~TSO (75/65/2o·c in accordance with EN 442) dependent on the dimensions and the
type.
The Quinn Sensa radiator is available in heights from
300mm up to 900mm inclusive.
Connections
All radiators are supplied with 4 x Y2" BSP connections .
Warranty
Quinn Sensa radiators are manufactured to comply with
ISO 9001 . 10 Year guarantee with all radiators . Heat outputs have been independently tested and comply with EN
442 at ~TSO (75/65/20 . C).
Conversion information (11 T Factors)
The outputs quoted in this publication are based on~ T
so · c . To calculate other operating conditions the following example should be applied :
Example:
Add flow water temperature (75 . C) and return water temperature (65 . C) together (140 . C) divide by 2 (70 . C) and
then subtract the room temperature (20 . C). This will give
you a ~T factor of so · c.
For ~T factors other than so · c use the following formula :
