No events are held during July and August without special agreement.
A $1000 security deposit is required in addition to the rental fee.
Full rental includes exclusive use of the Ballroom, Lafayette Room, Supper Room,
Pickering Room and Brick Hearth Room and Bride’s Room.
Events must end by 10 pm.
Hamilton Hall provides reasonable set up breakdown time –Director will coordinate
all vendors.
Hamilton Hall requires a deposit of one half (1/2) of the rental rate. Deposit must
accompany the signed contract and be returned within 14 days of contract date to
reserve Hamilton Hall on a definite basis.
Hamilton Hall must receive the balance of the rental fee, plus a $1000.00 security
deposit, in addition to the fee, no later than 60 days prior to the scheduled event.

If ceremony is to be held in Hamilton Hall, you may rent an additional half hour for
$250 for a ½ hour ceremony prior to the reception. If you choose to have your
ceremony in the park across from Hamilton Hall, there is a $500 fee (nonrefundable) for Park rental. In case of inclement weather, the Hall can be used as an
alternative ceremony site.
There is a $100 fee for rehearsals held at Hamilton Hall and the Park. Dates and
times are subject to availability.
In the event of cancellation, the reservation fee shall be forfeited unless the Hall
Manager can re-let the room(s) for the same date without loss, in which event all but
$200.00 shall be returned to the Customer. Notification of cancellation must be
received by Hamilton Hall no later than 6 months prior to the event and notice of
cancellation must be received by Hamilton Hall in writing. Deposits may not be
transferred.
The Hall will provide 250 white folding chairs and 15 - 60” round tables for use by
the Customer within the building of Hamilton Hall.
An event manager to be on duty at all times during the contracted event times to
assist the Customer as needed.
Hamilton Hall maintains a list of Exclusive Caterers who meet our insurance
requirements and are familiar with the unique working conditions of Hamilton Hall
the Customer agrees to choose a caterer from Hamilton Hall’s exclusive list.
Hamilton Hall bills each caterer a $300.00 usage fee per event to cover use of
Hamilton Hall facilities and wear and tear.
The caterer is responsible for set up and break down of tables and chairs used for
both the ceremony and reception, and clean up and removal from the property of all
trash generated by the event. If not using a caterer, the Customer is responsible for
hiring a bar service to serve all alcohol, and all caterer rules apply to the Customer.
Hamilton Hall is a Registered National Historic Landmark and does not currently
provide handicap access to the second and third floors of the building. There is
permanent ramp access to the first floor only.
Hamilton Hall is not air conditioned or mechanically ventilated, and only a few of its
windows may be partially opened to provide ventilation by outside air. Hamilton Hall
makes no promises or guarantees regarding the ambient air temperature in the Hall
at the time of the event.
