VII Announces New CEO, Board of Directors,
and Member After Annual Meeting
The Members and the Board of VII Photo
Agency are thrilled to announce the
nomination of Andy Patrick as their new
CEO. Andy was appointed during the
agency’s annual meeting in Barcelona,
Spain.

Andy Patrick is a serial entrepreneur, with
over 25 years of experience in new media
and e-commerce, and has worked with
leading global brands, such as Apple, Virgin
and Patagonia. He also has deep roots in the
culture of documentary photography and the
promotion of social change.
The Members also elected a new Board comprising of photographers Ashley Gilbertson,
Gary Knight (Chair), Maciek Nabrdalik and Tomas van Houtryve (Vice Chair) who join current
external Board members Tommaso Barracco and Diego Rigatti.
The Board believes that Andy represents the perfect convergence of shrewd entrepreneurialism,
acute management acumen and a deep commitment to VII’s photographic legacy. Andy has the
skills to build on our history and drive the agency forward creating new market opportunities and
developing new relationships for the company over the coming years.
During the annual meeting the Members also voted unanimously to elect China-based
Singaporean photographer Sim Chi Yin as a Member of the Agency. Chi Yin began her
relationship with VII as a participant in its Mentor Program before being elected as an interim
Member two years ago. We are delighted to welcome her to full membership.

Pagetti, Sarker Protick, Sim Chi Yin, John Stanmeyer and Tomas van Houtryve.
Current members of the VII Mentor Program include: Ali Arkady (Iraq) Arnau Bach (Spain),
