The department of Supply Chain Management is responsible for the strategic
and operational purchasing and for the quality assurance of manufacturing
components for GIS. To support this team and for the expansion of our
international activities, we are looking for a dynamic leader in the area of
supplier quality and delivery control.

Tasks
- In your role, you lead your team always motivating and
through specific target definitions to success
- With due care, you provide error detection and avoidance for
externally sourced material
- Also, you handle the timely inspection of the delivery control
including the delivery at production site
- We rely on you when it comes to on-site inspections of
suppliers and follow-ups of the corresponding corrective
measures
- You support us in the strategic purchasing in the
development of new low-cost-country suppliers
- In addition, you record quality-related data as well as costs
in the administrative department and you initiate continuous
process improvements
- Last but not least, your professional management of and
participation in projects is required
Requirements
- Besides your technical qualification, you have several years
of work experience in quality assurance for manufactured as
well as machined components and assemblies
- Also, you ideally have experience in purchasing and you are

well versed in the set-up and development of suppliers in Asia
and/or Eastern Europe
- You are fluent in German and English, both written and
spoken
- As a motivated team player, you convince with good
negotiation and communication skills, a structured work
approach and your strong commitment
- Finally, you enjoy working in an international environment
which requires the willingness to travel for about 30 % of your
time
