For over a century, Niagara Falls State Park has played host to
visitors who’ve come from all over the world to watch water and
gravity inspire and amaze. Today’s experience is by far the most
memorable ever – largely because of enhanced access to the
history, geology and beauty of this special place. You can witness
the intensity of the falls from inches away at the Cave of the Winds
tour, meet the legends and marvel at the myths at the Niagara
Legends of Adventure Theater, and cruise the powerful churning
waters near the base during the Maid of the Mist® boat ride. We
invite you to come closer to this legendary force of nature for an
experience you’ll never forget.
Most visitors of Niagara Falls State Park fly into New York’s Buffalo
Niagara International Airport or drive in on Interstate 90. It’s only 20
minutes from Buffalo, just off the Robert Moses Parkway in the heart
of downtown Niagara Falls, U.S.A.
From the East: Take Interstate 90 West to Interstate 290 and take the
Interstate 190 North exit. Then cross the South Grand Island Bridge
to exit 21 to Robert Moses Parkway, where signs will direct you to
the state park’s parking lots.
From the South: Take either Interstate 90 West through New York
or Interstate 90 East through Pennsylvania to Interstate 290. Then
take the Interstate 190 North exit and cross the South Grand Island

Established on July 15, 1885, Niagara Falls State Park is the
model from which all other state parks were created. And its
breathtaking beauty is only the beginning. Get closer than you
ever imagined at the following attractions:
Maid of the Mist
Aptly named, this world-famous boat journey embarks from
the base of the Observation Tower at Prospect Point for a
round-trip into the frothing waters beneath the American and
Horseshoe Falls.
Cave of the Winds
Explore beneath the American Falls, navigating your way under
the falls to the famous Hurricane Deck. Those rain ponchos you
see aren’t optional – you’ll be surrounded by the thundering
power of water cascading down from hundreds of feet above.
