About the projects:
Expected impacts:
Transport and Main Roads will soon begin
enhancements to the intersections of Dreamworld
Parkway, Siganto Drive, Hope Island Road and
Anaheim Drive at Exit 57.
The following conditions can be expected during
these works:
 Reduced speed limits and delays through
work zone.
Project works:
This project includes 2 separate work areas and
will include;
Dreamworld Parkway/Hope Island
Road/Siganto Drive intersection.


Additional right hand turn lane from Hope
Island Road north into Dreamworld
Parkway.
Increase the turning area to accommodate
heavy haulage vehicles.

Increase the length of the right hand turn
lane to provide additional space for
queuing vehicles.

Changes to intersection including
narrowing of median.
Hope Island Road and Anaheim Drive
intersection.



Realign the eastbound traffic lanes to
provide three dedicated through traffic
lanes, and, two dedicated right hand lanes
for entry into Helensvale Homeworld.
Narrowing of median and road shoulder
Changes to access of shared pedestrian
and bicycle lane with addition of off-road
section.

Reduced traffic lanes, possible lane
closures and detours in place.

Traffic control through intersections and
access to businesses.
Timeframes:

The project is expected to undertake early
minor works at start of December 2015.

Major construction will begin in midJanuary 2016.

Work will be carried out at night from
6:00pm to 6:00am Monday to Saturday,
with possible further weekend work if
required.
It is important to note that wet weather, contractor
and site conditions may change this work
schedule.
