Drag an Image
When you click on and drag an image, a read-out next to your cursor will appear, giving the X and Y
coordinates of the new position.
Select a Reference Point
By selecting a reference point, you determine the corner of your object for which the coordinates are
given.

Info Panel
The info panel, found under Window>Info, or F8, gives the X and Y coordinates of the cursor.
Resize an Image
When you resize an image, a "W" and "H" will appear, giving you the new width and height
measurements of your object.
Rotate an Image
First select the Rotate tool on the left side of the screen. Then, as you rotate your object, the number of
degrees will be given in a read-out. The same concept may be applied to the Free Transform tool.

Turn the Smart Cursor Off
To turn the smart cursor off, go to Preferences>Interface, which is under Edit in a PC, InDesign in a
Mac, and uncheck the box next to Show Transformation Values.
