Change to JPM & JPL Pushbuttons’ Stationary Contacts

Appearance
JPM and JPL Pushbuttons will have a revision to the stationary contact material. The material
will change from silver alloy to silver alloy plus copper. This will effect all models, both standard
and custom. There will also be a change to the shape of the stationary contacts, although it is
an internal revision not noticeable from the outside of the switch. The following table describes
the material difference before and after the modification.

There are no changes to the movable contacts.
There are no changes to any other specifications, ratings or electrical life.

Effective Date
Changes to JPM and JPL stationary contacts’ material and shape will be effective January 2017.
