Supply Chain and Logistics Management
ASU now offers Bachelor degrees and a Master of
Business Administration concentration in Supply
Chain and Logistics Management. Classes toward a
Bachelor of Science degree are also available at the
Darton State College Cordele Center.
Fire Services Administration
An articulation agreement between Albany State
University and the Technical College System of
Georgia allows fire science graduates from two-year
institutions to seamlessly transfer credits between
designated schools.
ASU Awarded Prestigious Grants
2016: $1.1 million U.S. Department of Defense grant to protect public health and U.S. military troops against the threat of a
bioterrorist attack.
2016: $499,000 U.S. Department of Agriculture grant to develop policy-relevant evidence on the use of behavioral nudges in national
agri-environmental programs.
2015: $450,000 National Science Foundation HBCU-Up grant to enhance the quality of undergraduate STEM education.
2015: $105,000 Southwest Georgia Workforce Investment Board grant to provide opportunities for students with all types of
disabilities to explore exciting careers in science, mathematics, and technology.
2015: $700,000 Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) grant to prevent HIV/AIDS among young
adults on the ASU campus and the community.
2015: $500,000 U.S. Department of Education grant to increase the number of traditionally underserved student veterans in higher

2015: $331,000 Health Resources Services Administration (HRSA) grant to advance education nursing traineeships.
