ENGINEERING CONSIDERATIONS (NOT FOR UL REPRESENTATIVE USE):
For use only in or with equipment where the acceptability of the
combination is determined by Underwriters Laboratories Inc.
Conditions of Acceptability - When installed in the end-use equipment,
the following are among the considerations to be made:
1.
The power supply shall be installed in compliance with the
enclosure, mounting, spacing, casualty and segregation requirements of the
ultimate application.
2.
Consideration should be given to measuring the temperatures on power
electronic components and transformer windings when the power supply is
installed in the end-use equipment. The transformers are provided with an
class B (130) insulation system, OBJY2, Siemens, designated CTB130.
3.
This power supply has been judged on the basis of the required
spacings in the Sixth Edition of the Standard for Power Supplies.
4.
The input/output connectors are not acceptable for field connections
and are only intended for connection to mating connectors of internal wiring
inside the end-use machine. The acceptability of these and the mating
connectors relative to secureness, insulating materials and temperature shall
be considered.
5.
A primary fuse protection shall be provided by the end user.
According to the manufacturer's specification, a Recognized time delay fuse or
a Listed circuit breaker Series 3RV1011, manufacturer Siemens, shall be
connected in series to the power supply.
