How to Verify UL Listing on www.UL.com

VZCA for SPDs
Go to www.UL.com and click on ‘Online Certification Directory’ at the bottom of the page in the
right hand column. This will pull up a search window with multiple options. You want to type in
VZCA into the ‘UL Category Code’ search box and hit enter or click search. This will pull up an
alphabetical listing of all UL 3rd Edition listed SPD manufacturers. At the right of each manufacturer
is a link to their UL file which contains UL tested VPRs (clamp voltages), I-nominal ratings,
MCOVs, Type designations, model numbers, system voltages and modes of protection.
