I will include a few paragraphs from the letter that I received from the Bay Rama Fishfly Festival Parade
Committee in this note. I will check in for the Band at 10:30 on the 28th, however, students do not need to
be at our location until 12:30 AM. on Alfred Street in New Baltimore. Make sure that all students wear
their Band T-Shirts for the parade. Students can wear shorts but they must follow the dress code for
Anchor Bay Schools. (If they are too short, they will not be allowed to march with the band.) Also, please
make sure that students wear proper shoes for marching. (Tennis shoes would be the best choice, no flip
flops) The parade will end at County Line Road, so you may want to have your car parked near that
location to pick up your child. Read the note below, it provides you with some information about parking
lots that are available.

Dear Parade Participant,
Enclosed is a map to assist you on parade day. Note the locations of parade check in and
line up on Alfred Street and the Green Street parade route. It is easiest to turn onto Base
St to get to the parade check in. Parade check-in begins at 10:30AM on Alfred Street
and all units must be at their assigned line up positions by 12:30PM (Noon). All
units please assign one person to go to our check-in to get your entry number and line-up
position the parade will start at 1:00 P.M. sharp on Sunday June 28, 2015. For units,
which we are paying to attend, please have an authorized person sign in and pick up your
check.
All units will place the entry number on the right front of the unit to facilitate recognition
by the judges and the announcer of the parade. We will have the reviewing stand in the
intersection of Washington Street and Green Street. Please read the attached copy of our
parade Rules and Regulations/Restrictions.
You will be guided at the end of the parade to a spot where you can breakdown your unit
if you need to. In the past few years it has been an area next to the CVS on County Line
and Green Street. This may still be available but you might also be directed to a parking
lot on the North East Corner of County Line and Green Street. It is in the same general
area and we will have Parade Officials there to direct you.
