DESCRIPTION
AMETEK’s AMPHION MS3320 sized Solid State Circuit Breakers (SSCB) combine
circuit breaker, load monitoring and relay functions in a small and cost-effective
package. The SSCB can be used directly in an application circuit
or combined with other AMPHION components into a power
distribution system.
MANUAL AND AUTOMATIC
OPERATION
The SSCB has a manual actuator that functions similarly to that of an electromechanical
circuit breaker, but it also has a one-wire digital data bus that allows for remote operation

The circuit breaker has the ability to detect and trip on intermittent arc faults produced by
wire insulation failure.

UNIQUE FAILSAFE DESIGN
Unlike other solid-state products, the SSCB contains patented circuitry that prevents a
failure in a short-circuited condition. This means that a failure will not cause a critical load

APPLICATIONS
Remote / manual control of electrical loads, such as pumps, valves, lights, actuators, fans,
etc. Protect wiring harnesses and loads from fire due to wire shorts or insulation failures.
