Bare Copper Wire
Solid & Stranded, Soft Drawn
Royal® solid and stranded, soft annealed bare copper conductors are available from 14 gauge to
500MCM. These conductors are made from Electrolytic Tough Pitch (ETP) copper feed stock and
manufactured to ASTM standards B3 (Soft or Annealed) or B8 (Concentric-Lay). Bare Copper Wire is
used in overhead transmission and distribution systems and for grounding grid systems. In addition to
the new 25 pound contractor packs, this product is stocked on 3,000, 1,000 or 500 foot reels or other
customer specified packaging upon request.
Features
• Highest conductivity per unit area of all commonly used metals to conduct electricity
• Flexible, easily shaped and contoured into place
