The Quran

The Quran is the central religious text of Islam.

Muslims believe the Quran to be the book of divine guidance and direction for mankind, consider the text in its original Arabic, to be the literal word of Allah revealed to Muhammad over a period of twenty-three years, and view the Quran as God's final revelation to humanity.

Muslims regard the Quran as a continuation of other divine messages that started with those revealed to Adam - regarded, in

Islam, as the first prophet - and including the Suhuf-i-Ibrahim, the Tawrat, the Zabur, and the Injil, in between. The aforementioned books are recognized in the Quran, and the

Quranic text assumes familiarity with many events from Jewish and Christian scriptures, retelling some of these events in distinctive ways, and referring obliquely to others. It rarely offers detailed accounts of historical events; the Quran's emphasis is typically on the moral significance of an event, rather than its narrative sequence.

Prophet Muhammad was the founder of Islam and is regarded by Muslims as the last messenger and prophet of God.

Muslims believe that he was not the creator of a new religion, but the restorer of the original, uncorrupted monotheistic faith of Adam, Abraham and others.

They see him as the last and the greatest in a series of prophets.

Sources on Muhammad’s life concur that he was born ca. 570

CE in the city of Mecca in Arabia. He was orphaned at a young age and was brought up by his uncle, later worked mostly as a merchant, and was married by age 26. At some point, discontented with life in Mecca, he retreated to a cave in the surrounding mountains for meditation and reflection.

According to Islamic tradition, it was here at age 40, in the month of Ramadan, where he received his first revelation from God. Three years after this event, Muhammad started preaching these revelations publicly, proclaiming that "God is

One", that complete "surrender" to Him is man's religion, and that he was a prophet and messenger of God, in the same vein as Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, Jesus, and other prophets.

What are angels?

Angels are 'spiritual', non-material beings who put God's commands and laws into action in this world. They have no

'will' of their own, unlike man, and are intermediaries between God and the world. What do angels look like?

As angels are not physical beings, they cannot be seen by man's eye. So this question does not arise. However, Prophets of God and other righteous persons can 'see' angels on occasions, but it is with their spiritual (or mind's) eyes, in dreams and visions. What functions do angels perform?

These are of two kinds: their functions in the physical world, and their functions in the spiritual development of man. In the physical world, the working of nature is governed by laws, as science has shown by discovering many of these laws.

Islam teaches that these laws have been devised by God, and

the angels - the obeying functionaries of God - put them into action. On the spiritual side, the angels communicate God's revelation to the Prophets and other righteous ones, bring comfort and strength to the hearts of true believers, and inspire noble thoughts in the minds of all persons. They do this, of course, by acting through the spiritual senses of human beings, not their physical

daen Saleh

: The designed coloney of Somud's tribes in the mountains. Allah Almighty sent Prophet Saleh (A.S) as a messenger to them. The people of Samud worshiped idols. Prophet Saleh (A.S) taught them the message of

Allah Almighty and advised them to leave the worship of idols but they refused to accept the message of Allah

Almighty. They mocked at the message of Allah and continued worshiping idols. Allah Almighty destroyed them by His horrible and frightful fury (because when the creation doesn’t fulfill the purpose of its creation then it would better off being destroyed). Their strong homes in mountains could not save them from the fury of Allah and death.

Qasr-e-Fareed

: A famous building in “Madaen Saleh”. The disobeying people of Prophet Saleh (A.S), used to construct buildings as a hobby. There are many strange buildings and samples of sculptured stones in that stony city. Even the graveyards were sculptured out of mountains. Despite possessing such a fine skills of art they didn’t have any faith in their hearts therefore they were destroyed.

In the first instance, people may think that Muslim woman is a victim of man , and society . They think her abilities and powers are limited. In addition to that, people think that she is forbidden form practicing her human rights. One can find such examples , but these examples are abnormalities, and are not related to Islamic teachings . Islam valued woman ,and protected her from being a bought .Islam did not prevent woman from practicing any kind of job for Allah (SWT) equates between woman and treatments (Ayat) regarding worshipping and treatments, but with some limitations between both in dealing with each other ,because only Allah /who creates human values.

Regarding the Islamic elothhing of woman ,which is criticized by westerns,it protects her freedom, without being hurt by others either spiritually or physically . Allah (SWT) has ordered man to respect woman . and treat her very well , whether she is has wife

,or daughter .The mother in Islam has a very valued position. The paradise is under her feet,” due to how she suffers during pregnancy about every detail that makes her family being happy.

Her children must respect her, and work hard to please her ,more and more when she gets old , and not throwing her in elderly institutions without even asking about her, as happens in the western societies. All mentioned make the Islamic family full of love, as much as every single member of it works according to the

Islamic rules. Not only that , love goes far beyond that to relate all

Muslims together as brothers and sisters , so the society will be strong, very well connected because of obeying Allah ,and then they will reach the top happiness in this life and in the life after
