Communication Studies
From one-on-one conversations to addressing a large crowd in a public arena, communication is
a part of our daily lives. Communication Studies prepares you for almost any career path you
choose — from public speaking to being an effective manager capable of conveying ideas and
resolving workplace conflict.
Communications Studies is a broad and flexible major, allowing you to tailor your experience to
fit your professional goals — whether you are on campus or online. Our small class sizes mean
our professors are able to get to know you and help you grow in your professional, personal, and
civic lives. Our courses in public speaking, intercultural communication, conflict management,
and communicating with technology are highly interactive, allowing you to connect theory with
practical, real-world applications.
Want to find out more? Feel free to contact us to discover if a major in Communication Studies
is for you.
