An APSU Staff Senate Resolution to provide clarity and an appeal’s process for visitor parking on
campus.
WHEREAS, The current visitor parking areas provides no information on the visitor parking policies;
and,
WHEREAS, the current policy states no avenue for appeal of tickets.
THEREFORE LET IT BE RESOLVED THAT, the Associated Staff at Austin Peay State University
recommends the placement of signs noting the visitor pass policy or altogether removing the visitor
pass policy for visitor spots only; and,
THEREFORE LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED THAT, the APSU Staff Senate recommends the need for
the current traffic and parking regulations to be updated to include an appeals process for visitor
parking violations.
THEREFORE LET IT BE FINALLY RESOLVED THAT, copies of this resolution shall be sent to the Office of
Public Safety and Campus Police.
