INTERNSHIP INFORMATION (How might your organization use and improve a health education
student’s skills and knowledge?):
Learn to prioritize tasks, learn to write concise information for web site health and newsletter, learn to
perform health screenings, learn to prepare for health fairs, learn professional communication skills,
learn to always have a “plan B”, work with a variety of target populations and learn that health
education is a very rewarding field.

Organization, task management, flexibility, interpersonal communication, Motivation, Basic Computer
Skills, willing to learn professional writing skills, willing to do public speaking, willing to be a team player
and work collaboratively.
