How should I behave in class?

Daily Procedure

Enter classroom.

Go to assigned seat and sit down.

Take out notebook and write the following:

◦ Date

◦ Objective

◦ Closing Task

Answer Bell Ringer

Make Up Work Procedure

If you are absent, it is YOUR responsibility to get make-up work/notes.

If absent,

◦ Check Daily Work/Discussion Folder

◦ Copy down what you missed

◦ Get notes from a friend

◦ Turn in makeup work within two days from return to class.

 If you were absent on Monday and returned

Tuesday, your make-up work is due on Thursday.

Substitute Teacher Procedure

Treat the substitute teacher with respect.

If the substitute writes your name down, you owe me detention!

Class Rules

Follow all school rules

◦ Dress Code

◦ No Cell Phone use without teacher permission

Bring supplies to class EVERYDAY

Be on time

Be prepared to learn

Be courteous to EVERYONE

Consequences

First Offense: warning, documentation

Second Offense: lunch/after school detention

Third Offense: contact parent

Fourth Offense: parent/teacher conference

Subsequent Offense: referral/citation
