Challenge in getting some PIs to report
•GCA sends two emails with the deadline reminders
•1st and the 15th of the reporting month
•Some PIs would rather not see multiple reminders close to the
deadline
YR1 and YR2 reports clarification
•Campus asks: Why is there a requirement for filling out YR1 and
YR2 reports on the same project?
•The answer: Because we have two separate awards, sponsors ask
us to report on each award individually.

Completion status
•Pertains to the budget period being reported on—not the individual
quarter being reported on
•Mark “fully complete”
Only at the end of a project
Or the end of YR1 when there is a separate budget for Yr2
PI report forms
•Required until the budget is marked “fully complete” in the PI
webform
•If the budget has expired during a quarter, a “fully complete” report
will still be needed.
