I found this particular painting in the M building close to the library and get
me attention on it. The name of the artist is Tanya Nickolan she describes
her paintings (My Own Collection). She is a present student at LaGuardia
Community College. Her traditional media used: water color, acrylic,
charcoal and dyed spackle paste to draw and paint. The paintings are very
colorful, she show us a painting that is similar to John Lennon one of the
singers in “The beatles”. Her professional goal is to become a studio teacher
and graphic of greeting cards. In my opinion she has the potential to
continue her goal.
