The purpose of engineering software is to create products for infinite other
industries and companies.
Related Disciplines.
SWEBOK acknowledges this in the final knowledge area—
There are also other engineering fields that closely jive
with SWEBOK and general software engineering principles.
Our group was pretty homogeneous in our backgrounds so much of our project
was simply building up to programming rather than mixing in other disciplines.
