NORTH IREDELL BASEBALL
PARENT INFORMATION LETTER 2015-2016
Dear Baseball Parent/Student,
The North Iredell High School Baseball program would like to start off
thanking you for your support thus far! It is greatly appreciated. As mentioned in
our meeting today, fall workouts will start SEPTEMBER 1ST. Your child will have the
opportunity to signup for morning sessions that start at 6:30am. Freshman and
Sophomore student-athletes will sign up for Monday/Tuesday sessions and Juniors
and Seniors will sign up for Thursday/Friday sessions. If, for some reason, they
cannot attend the session they signed up for, they need to contact me so I can find
someone to fill that spot. There are only 8 slots available per session.
There will also be after school strength and conditioning workouts from
3:15pm-5:00pm. There is no sign up required for these sessions. All players are
welcome. If your child already has a weightlifting class in the fall, they are not
required to attend the afterschool session.
To clarify, your child is not required to attend any session, but it is HIGHLY
recommended they attend as much as possible.
PARENTS: At North Iredell High School, we are blessed to have a NIHS
Diamond Club, which is an organization ran by the baseball team’s parents and
coaches to help the program become a greater success. Not many schools have this!
What we need, is more assistance from parents with concessions, meetings,
fundraising, etc. Generally, the Diamond Club will meet roughly one day a month to
discuss what needs to be accomplished in order to help out our program. If you feel
you may be interesting in helping us out, please let me know! We would greatly
appreciate and welcome you! Again, anything helps! Also, please fill out the form
