Hi Parents,
I hope that everyone is doing well and staying dry! Our fall celebration was a success!
Thank you to all of the parents that helped out one way or another. Your effort and help
is greatly appreciated!!!!
Benchmark Testing: We are taking district benchmarks in both math and reading this
week. Today students tested in Math and will test in Reading on Thursday. These are given
to ensure that our students are learning what is being taught. The data we receive is used
to direct instruction. Please be sure your child gets a good night’s rest on Wednesday. If
you have any questions please send me an e-mail.

Reading: Figurative language in text-phrases/word meanings-literal and non-literal
meanings/vocabulary word building/ Scholastic News Magazine
Math: subtraction standard algorithm & word problems/ single & multi-step
Spelling: Homework week
