1. Matter is all around us. It is either a solid, a liquid or a gas. Everything is made up of atoms. Matter can change from a solid to
a liquid to a gas such as water.
2. Solids' properties are: they are hard, they are visible, they do not conform to the container they are in, they take up space, and
they have weight.
3. Liquid's properties are: they are poured, they are visible, they do not keep their shape, they conform to the space they are in,
they take up space and they have weight.
