1. Matter is all around us. It is either a solid, a liquid or a gas. Everything is made up of atoms. Matter can change from a solid to
a liquid to a gas such as water.
2. Solids' properties are: they are hard, they are visible, they do not conform to the container they are in, they take up space, and
they have weight.
3. Liquid's properties are: they are poured, they are visible, they do not keep their shape, they conform to the space they are in,
they take up space and they have weight.
4. Gases' properties are: they are invisible, they conform to the container they are placed in, they take up space, and they have
weight.
