and valiant in battle. He is being given
a new title from King Duncan of
Scotland and will now be called
THANE OF CAWDOR instead of
THANE OF GLAMIS. The former
Thane of Cawdor was disloyal to the
king and will be killed.

Biblical allusion: “…memorize
