Your assignment
You are scientist who has been instructed to find ways to solve the
energy crisis being faced by the US. You will be assigned a specific task
related to solving this nationwide crisis. It will be up to you to research
and teach others about an alternative form of energy that can be used to
safely meet the energy demands of the population without an extremely
high price or further damage to the environment.
Use the Research Guide provided to help you find out information
on your topic.
Once your research is completed, create a model, diagram or some
type of multimedia display that you can use to teach classmates about
how your renewable resource can be used to power America.
You will then use your persuasive writing skills to convince the
class that your source of energy/power is better than the current fossils
fuels being used. This is to be done in paragraph form and must include
pictures, diagrams and/or charts. This will be an essay explaining why
your energy source should be used and is better thatn the current energy
production.
