Job Title: Account (Sales) Executive – Aviation Insurance – St Louis
Reports To: St Louis Operations Manager
Position Summary: Primarily responsible for maintaining and growing a book of business
from existing and potential new customers by using knowledge of insurance products.
Position Responsibilities:
Provide timely and accurate information to customers and insurance companies regarding
policies
Preparation of information to provide to customer and insurance companies regarding
placement of new business and renewing current business
Obtains and presents proposals and quotes and recommends coverages based on
customer needs
Negotiate with insurance company underwriters on customer’s behalf
Cross sells property and casualty coverage to aviation clients
Essential Skills and Experience:
General aviation knowledge including Private Pilot’s license
Time Management – ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including ability to create and give
presentations
Ability to read, analyze and interpret insurance policies, coverage documents and
contracts
Ability to effectively establish rapport, present information and respond to questions from
customers and insurance company underwriters
Property and Casualty insurance license (if do not currently have, must be willing to obtain
at NationAir’s expense
Strong customer orientation
College degree in aviation or a similar field
Non-Essential Skills and Experience:
Customer service experience in insurance industry
Advanced computer proficiency
Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
