Resolved developer challenge against title insurer based upon $1.3 million claim for damages to 54-unit waterfront
condominium development alleging title defect under title policy, and violations of Insurance Fair Conduct Act and Consumer
Protection Act.

Prosecuted private condemnation lawsuit for right-of-way to landlocked timberland resulting in easement agreement with
adjoining neighbors.

Resolved lawsuit involving sale of 50-lot subdivision arising when corporate seller alleged to be unauthorized to convey title
after developer had commenced improvements and sale of lots.

Lead trial counsel on dispute involving validity and priority of bonded mechanic's lien over purchase money lender's deeds of
trust giving rise to issue of first impression under Washington law.

Shared lead counsel responsibility in liquidation of $50 million commercial real estate portfolio, filing numerous lawsuits i n state
and federal court, prosecuting claims for breach of contract, judicial and nonjudicial foreclosure, lien priority disputes,
commercial leasing issues, appraisal and valuation disputes, and bankruptcy issues.

Prosecuted numerous disputes on behalf of landlords involving commercial lease defaults in strip malls, shopping centers and

resolve claims and wind up business entities holding real estate and commercial assets.

Litigated non-competition disputes in the context of employment law, commercial leases and partnership obligations.

Enjoined and resolved attempted termination of multimillion-dollar distribution and service business covering several western
states invoking breach of contract and state franchise law.

Co-counsel to provider prosecuting claims valued at over $2 million in both state and federal court for therapy services at
nursing care facilities involving complex contract, Medicare and bankruptcy issues.

Partnership Act without benefit of written partnership agreement or documentation of partner loan used as start-up fund.

Lead trial counsel on termination for cause of senior executive and call on executive's member units in limited liability
manufacturing company.

Lead trial counsel on valuation of shares of closely held corporation on court decreed forced sale due to director and
shareholder deadlock involving equipment manufacturing company.
