As you are an international student it is probable that you will have a visa that extends to the end of
your programme plus a few months. Leaving the UK to finish your programme means that the
University must now report your location of study to the UK Border Agency and it is likely that the
UK Border Agency will curtail your UK visa. Therefore if you need to return to the UK, e.g. to attend
a congregation ceremony, you may need to apply for a visitor visa.
