Planning Lead Member Briefing
held on 16th December , 2008
Action sheet approved.
2. Key Decisions ( Part 1 )
The Lead Members for Planning for Housing noted the responses
received to the Draft Pendleton Planning Guidance consultation and
supported the changes to the Draft Planning Guidance proposed in
response to the comments received as detailed in the report now
submitted ; and the Lead Member for Planning approved the amended
Pendleton Planning Guidance document as set out in Annex 4 of the
report and authorised its adoption it on behalf of the City Council.

1. The Lead Members for Planning and Housing approved the signing
of a ‘Memorandum of Agreement’ with the Environment Agency to
secure and utilise EA funding on this project and noted that The Lead
Member for Customer and Support Services , at his Briefing on 2nd
March , 2009, had agreed to an exception being made to Contractual
Standing Orders in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 2. 1
(a) of Part 4: Section 7 of the Council Constitution, to enable the Lead
Member for Planning to commission Urban Vision to complete the
