Easy Cheesy Potatoes
10 or 12 inch Dutch Oven
1 feed pan
1 roll Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil
About 24 lighted briquettes from Charcoal Starters
Ingredients:
2 pounds frozen hash browns
2 cups grated cheese
1 cup milk
1 cup sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
Cover the inside of a seasoned 12 inch dutch oven with Heavy Duty Foil. Mix all of the
ingredients together in a bowl and then pour the mix into the lined Dutch oven. Cook in
Dutch oven for one hour.
PLACING the BRIQUETTES ON THE DUTCH OVEN: Use the three up and three
down rule. For a 12 inch dutch oven—place 15 coals on top (3+12 up) and 9 coals (12-3
down) under the dutch oven in the feed pan.
