Where Do You Stand?
Ask participants to stand in a line all facing forward. Tell the
participants you will be reading a statement. You should place yourself
on the continuum where you believe the answer. Some of the questions
will be Yes/No. Facilitator should designate which side is which. At the
end of the activity, the facilitators should debrief the activity. Can you
questions like: What did you observe/notice? How did this activity
make you feel? As we start the semester, what questions does this bring
about for leadership?
I am an effective Leader
Leaders are born, not made
Good Leaders are not necessarily ethical leaders
There are differences in the way women and men exercise
leadership
It is more important to get the task done than for the group to get
along
Leadership is a process
The situation changes my leadership style
The public nature of this activity is influencing my behaviors
